Prescription Lenses

Every frame at Carmen Optics is prescription-ready — including blue light lenses. Here is how it works, start to finish.

1. Choose your frame

Shop any pair on the site. Every frame we sell can be fitted with prescription or blue-light lenses — just choose the frame you love.

2. Send us your prescription

After you order, send your prescription to us on WhatsApp at +234 812 088 6318 or by email at carmenoptics@gmail.com. If you do not have a recent prescription, we can point you to where to get an eye test done first.

3. We fit your lenses

Our lab fits your lenses to your frame and prescription. Regular prescriptions typically take 3 business days. Special orders can take 5–12 business days, depending on the lens type.

4. Delivered to your door

Once your lenses are fitted, we ship your glasses to you, ready to wear. Lagos: 1–3 business days. Outside Lagos, within Nigeria: 5 business days.

Do I need to tell you I want a prescription before I order?
No — order any frame as normal, then send your prescription afterward on WhatsApp or email using the details above.

What if I do not have a copy of my prescription?
Message us on WhatsApp and we will help you sort out getting a current prescription before your lenses are fitted.

Do you offer blue light or other specialty lenses?
Yes, blue light lenses are available on every frame. Message us on WhatsApp to ask about other lens options.

How much do prescription lenses cost?
Pricing depends on your prescription strength and lens type. Send us your prescription on WhatsApp for an exact quote before you order.

Can I return or exchange prescription glasses?
Because lenses are custom-fitted to your prescription, returns are only accepted if there is an error on our part. Otherwise, exchanges are offered as store credit.
